A foldable palette is a type of artist's palette that can be easily folded up for storage or transport. These palettes are typically made of plastic or metal and are designed with a series of wells for holding and mixing paints.
The most common design for a foldable palette is a rectangular shape with a hinged lid. When closed, the lid protects the paints and keeps them from drying out or spilling. When opened, the lid can be propped up to create a convenient angle for painting.
One of the main advantages of a foldable palette is its portability. Because it can be easily folded up and stored in a bag or backpack, it is a popular choice for plein air painters or artists who travel frequently.
